1.      Helical Sieve  MACTİMARUM-1 

Automization in agriculture results to higher agricultural output obtained more economically. The helical sieve device has been developed for separating seeds of legumes (beans, chickpeas etc.) or large-seeded vegetables (peanuts etc.) into different sizes. With its replaceable sieve it can be utilized with different agricultural products. This automatic and ergonomically designed device is efficient, since it does not require any man power to operate. Its portabilitiy and ease of maintainance increases its flexibility and usefulness.

2.      Temperature Warning Device

This device is developed to monitor temperature in applications where a critical temperature exist that is either an upper or a lower limit and should be avoided. It can be used in environments such as greenhouses, storage places, food storage or processing units where temperature control is critical. When the critical temperature is reached, the device not only gives an audable warning signal but, if desired, can produce an electronic output to trigger a certain system or mechanism. The device can detect temperature changes as small as  0.1 degrees Celcius.

3.      Ice Slush Maker

In hot climates such as the Mediterranean region where Çukurova University is located, ice slush (snowy, tiny particles of ice) is used extensively in food service industry. Not only it is used to keep certain food items (fish, salads) fresh, but sometimes is itself an ingredient of the food (such as in the local desert “bici”, in flavoured cold beverages etc.). The ice slush maker is a device that grates ice blocks into slush. It is a combination of a grater which operates with constant cutting speed to create ice particles of uniform size, and a feeder that pushes the ice block into the grater. These two independent parts provide portability and flexibility.

4.      Advertisement Display System

Advertisements or various announcement displayed on billboards is a part of modern life. The advertisement display system developed at MACTIMARUM is a mechatronic system that can display multiple advertisement or announcements. Each item can be displayed with a predefined interval and duration. Each conventional billboard is typically allocated for one item. Particularly in big cities, the abundance of such billboards can be visually unaesthetic. One of our display system can fulfill the task of several conventional billboards, hence, it is economically more efficient and aesthetically less of a burden compared to conventional display systems. It uses minimal energy and can be manufactured in various sizes.
